Airchecks from regular programming times are preferred. This generally means weekdays between 10:00 AM and midnight. Weekday programming is preferred to weekends, but not required. No syndicated/satellite programming, and no morning shows unless specifically requested.

Brand-name high-quality tapes are preferred. I typically use Maxell and Sony.

If recording an MP3, a minimum quality of 128Kbps at 44.1Hz is required. 160Kbps or higher is preferred.

Get a legal ID in the recording somewhere.

I prefer that recordings are started between :45 and :15 after the hour.
